The service
passportvisapic.com offers a free passport, visa and ID photo tool, a photo checker, a print sheet maker, guides, price comparisons and travel tools (together, “the site”). The site runs in your browser: photos you open in it are processed on your device and are not sent to us (see the privacy page).
Free to use
The site is free. There is no account, no payment and no watermark. You may use the photos and print sheets you make for any lawful purpose, including official applications.
Your photos and your responsibility
- You keep all rights to your photos. We never receive them, so we claim no rights to them.
- Only use photos of yourself, of people who have agreed, or of children you are responsible for.
- Before you submit a photo, read the official rules of your document and check the result. The tool helps, but you are responsible for the photo you submit.
No guarantee of acceptance
The tool checks your photo against the rules the issuing authority publishes. The passport, visa or immigration office makes the final decision, and it can reject a photo for reasons a tool cannot see. We do not promise that any photo will be accepted, and we are not responsible for a rejected photo, a delayed application or a missed appointment.
Information on the site
We take the rules, sizes, travel rules and prices on the site from official and retailer sources and show the date we last checked them. Rules and prices change, sometimes without notice, so the issuing authority’s own page always takes precedence. Nothing on the site is legal or immigration advice. The travel tools are planning aids: border officers decide who may enter and for how long. More in the disclaimer.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site:
- to make a photo for a forged, altered or fraudulent document, or to pass as someone else;
- with photos of people who have not agreed, other than children you are responsible for;
- in a way that harms the site or its visitors, for example by overloading it with automated requests, or by trying to break into the server.
Our content
The site’s text, design, code and graphics belong to passportvisapic.com. You may link to any page and quote short passages with a link back. Please do not copy whole pages or the rules tables to another site. Shop, agency and government names are used only to describe and compare; they belong to their owners.
Links to other websites
We link to official government pages and retailer pages so you can check the rules and prices yourself. We are not responsible for their content, which can change at any time.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”, free of charge, without any warranty. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on its information. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date below shows the last update; using the site after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions go to the contact page.
